If I do this and and connect a google puck to be a router I can connect the other pucks for a wifi network at ac1200 speeds. When I connect a generation 1 access point to my gen 2 mesh, it seems to drop the mesh speed by about 90%. You can use the original Google WiFi and Nest WiFi devices together, but I believe for the best setup Google recommends using the Nest WiFi router as your main router and any points or Google WiFi pucks as mesh points.
